Being relatively new to the hotel and hospitality sector, it was important for us to feel supported and the ERTC have been a huge help in both supporting us in developing a quality hotel offering and leading the way in developing the English Riviera as a modern and cosmopolitan resort for all age groups. This has included regular communications with all the stakeholders in tourism, such as update meetings/conferences, the annual trade show, as well as direct contact with the team in the Tourist Office and the Marketing team, regular email communications, suggestions for our websites, encouraging everyone to produce better quality marketing material, using technology such as Mobile Apps, Mobile Website and Widgets for links through to the ERTC site, offering video footage including local bands and quality footage of the bay and providing the image library for all to use. They have also worked hard to increase the number of specialist promotions using unique selling points such as Agatha Christie and the Geopark. We have also used the new Welcome English Riviera training course for all our front line staff to develop their customer skills and knowledge of the bay, allowing us to offer as close to a concierge service on our Reception as we can
